Account Supervisor
The Account Supervisor is responsible for providing strategic guidance to our clients and is ultimately responsible for the team’s performance. The Acct. Sup, working under the direction of the Senior Account Director, manages budgets, leads projects, coordinates project plans, timelines and deliverables and ensures project goals are met and expectations exceeded. In addition, the Acct. Sup will build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide overall direction and project scopes to Account Executives and leads the overall programs
- Maintain responsibility for entire project(s) and ensures all deliverables are met
- Report on projects’ progress, problems, variances, upcoming deadlines and client satisfaction to the Senior Account Director
- Identify new business opportunities with existing clients; writes SOWs for new projects
- Connect with client frequently to ensure client satisfaction and quickly deal with any issues that might come up
- Mentor junior team members
- Create case study examples (internal and external)
- Conduct client training sessions and compile training materials decks
- Participate in new business and capabilities presentations
Plan and coordinate project setup and execution including:
- Engage internal and external resources where needed
- Approve project timeline and deliverables
- Lead setup call and distribute project launch document to team
- Schedule and deliver projects
- Present deliverables
Requirements:
- Experience managing a large national/global B2C account with a proven track record of managing digital/social media projects
- Adept at negotiating budgets and project terms
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple clients and complex digital clients
- Assertive communicator
- Experience managing junior team members to motivate them and assist them in achieving project goals and deadlines
- Bachelors Degree
- Five to seven years of client service/project management experience in marketing/PR/social media, preferably at an agency
- Extensive knowledge of social media communities and tools, case studies and tactics, research/listening methods
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to develop and apply skills quickly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

- Ability to think independently, identify opportunities and creatively solve problems along with a strong desire to build relationships with teammates and clients.
